Early Years

Ages 3 to 6. Where the love of learning begins. Play-based, nurturing and designed to build confidence from the very first day.

The Most Important Years

Research consistently shows that the quality of a child's early education has a bigger impact on their future than any other stage. At Impact, we treat early years with the seriousness it deserves, while keeping the experience joyful and pressure-free for your little one.

Our Early Years programme is designed for children aged 3 to 6 who are not yet ready for the formal structure of primary school, or who would benefit from a smaller, more nurturing environment than most nursery settings provide.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage framework combined with elements of the IB PYP and CBC pre-primary learning areas, giving your child the best of multiple approaches.

What Your Child Will Learn

🔤

Language & Literacy

Phonics, sight words, letter formation, listening comprehension and early writing. We use a structured phonics programme but deliver it through games, songs and stories so children do not even realise they are learning.

🔢

Mathematics

Counting, number recognition, simple addition and subtraction, shapes, patterns and measurement. All taught with manipulatives and hands-on activities, never worksheets.

🌍

Understanding the World

Simple science experiments, nature walks, cultural celebrations and discussions about families and communities. Building curiosity about the world around them.

🎨

Creative Arts

Painting, drawing, modelling, music, movement and role play. Creative expression is central to how young children process their experiences and develop fine motor skills.

🤝

Social & Emotional

Sharing, taking turns, managing feelings, building friendships and developing independence. These are the skills that matter most in the early years and we prioritise them deliberately.

🏃

Physical Development

Both fine motor (pencil grip, scissors, threading) and gross motor (running, balancing, ball skills) development through structured play and outdoor activities.
