Progress & Reporting

You will never have to wonder how your child is doing. We keep you informed with detailed, honest reports throughout the year.

HomeProgress & Reporting

No Surprises at Report Time

One of the most common frustrations parents have with traditional schools is the lack of visibility into their child's progress. You get a report at the end of term, sometimes after exams have already been sat, and by then it is too late to do anything about weak areas.

At Impact, reporting is continuous and specific. You know how your child is performing in every subject, what topics they have covered, where they are strong and where they need support. This information comes to you regularly, not just at the end of the year.

We believe parents are partners in education. You cannot support what you cannot see. That is why we make progress visible and accessible at all times.

How We Track Progress

📊

Weekly & After-assessments Reports

Every friday, you receive a detailed report for each subject your child is studying. The report covers topics taught, assessment scores, effort level, attendance and specific next steps for improvement. Not generic comments. Actual actionable information.

📱

Parent Portal

Log in to our student portal anytime to see attendance records, submitted work, grades, teacher comments and upcoming assignments. You do not need to wait for a report to know how things are going.

📝

Ongoing Assessments

Short quizzes, topic tests, practical assessments and homework tasks are used continuously. These are low-stakes checks that help teachers adjust their teaching and identify problems early. They are not designed to stress students out.

🎯

Mock Examinations

For exam-level students, full mock exams are sat under real exam conditions. Papers are marked using official mark schemes and returned with detailed feedback. Students know exactly what they would score if it were the real thing.

📞

Parent-Teacher Communication

Beyond formal reports, you can reach out to teachers directly through the portal or by phone. If you have a concern, we respond within 24 hours. We also proactively contact parents if we notice anything that needs attention.

📈

Baseline & Diagnostic Testing

When your child joins, we run baseline assessments in core subjects. This gives us a clear starting point and allows us to measure progress objectively over time. You see the improvement in numbers, not just words.

What a Report Looks Like

Sample Report: IGCSE Mathematics — Term 2

  • Topics Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics
  • Topic Test Avg 78% (up from 65% in Term 1)
  • Homework Avg 85% (3 of 12 late submissions)
  • Effort Rating Good — engages well in class, asks questions
  • Strengths Algebra manipulation, data interpretation
  • Areas to Improve Trigonometry word problems, showing working clearly
  • Next Steps Extra practice on trig applications; attend Thursday lunchtime clinic
  • Teacher Comment Good progress this term. If current trajectory continues, on track for a Grade B/A. Focus on exam technique for the remaining papers.

This is an illustrative example. Actual reports contain more detail specific to each student.
